Description

Occupational safety and health training is intended for employers and/or their representatives working in companies across all economic activity groups.

The aim of the training program is to familiarize employers with the general provisions and requirements of occupational safety and health regulations, enabling them to create safe and health-friendly working conditions for employees, acquire the ability to perform functions set out in the model regulations of company occupational safety and health services, and personally carry out occupational safety and health service functions in companies of all economic activities.

Individuals who complete the training program are granted the right to have their occupational
safety and health knowledge assessed by the State Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania under the
Ministry of Social Security and Labour (VDI). Upon passing the knowledge assessment test at the VDI,
they gain the right to perform occupational safety and health service functions in small companies across all
economic activities.

Occupational safety and health training lasts 40 hours.

Minimum required education – higher education.
