Description

Plant protection courses are recommended for individuals who wish to acquire knowledge in the use of plant protection products. Plant protection is a science that studies harmful organisms to plants, develops methods and tools to reduce the damage they cause, and practically protects plants from diseases, pests, and weeds. Those working with plants must have qualified knowledge as determined by Lithuanian laws. Plant protection courses are part of occupational safety, helping to prevent workplace accidents.

Upon completion of the plant protection courses, a theoretical knowledge assessment will be conducted in the form of a test.
Upon successfully passing the test, a special certificate of plant protection
products in a prescribed form will be issued.

Plant protection courses last 8 hours.

No educational requirements are specified, but participants must be at least
18 years old.
