Description

A sling operator, often referred to as a load attacher, is an employee who attaches heavy loads to a crane. The sling operator courses are designed for load attachers and workers who use lifting cranes to hoist loads, are capable of independently attaching and supervising the transfer of loads with cranes, properly transmitting signals to crane operators, performing safe loading operations, and assessing risk factors in the crane’s work zone.

The work of a sling operator is highly responsible and dangerous, therefore sling operator courses are essential. During these courses, participants will acquire not only theoretical knowledge on work safety but also gain extensive practical experience through the analysis of various and frequently occurring hazardous situations.

The sling operator courses last 64 hours.

Individuals eligible to enroll must be at least 18 years old, have a basic education, and have no health impairments.
