Description

The aim of the training is to prepare employees to competently and safely cut trees and shrubs with a chainsaw or brush cutter, and prune branches with a chainsaw or a pole pruner. All of the above work is performed in protection zones.

During the training, the main technological and safety requirements for felling trees and pruning branches are covered, along with familiarization with chainsaw construction and operation, and fire safety regulations. Participants also learn how to safely organize the tree felling process.

Participants who successfully pass the exam are issued an occupational safety and health certificate
with the entry: qualified to work as a tree, shrub, and branch cutter in protection zones.

The certificate is valid for 5 years.

The occupational safety and health course for employees on the subject of tree, shrub, and branch cutting in protection zones lasts 8 hours.

Individuals aged 18 or older with at least basic education may enroll.
